Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has appealed to President Bola Tinubu and his son, Seyi Tinubu, for additional payment following his appearance at an All Progressives Congress (APC) rally in Lagos.
The political gathering took place on Tuesday at Onikan Stadium and drew several politicians, entertainers and supporters of the ruling party.
A video circulating on social media showed the singer calling for an opportunity to meet Tinubu and his son while expressing frustration over the physical strain he experienced during the event.
Portable, who appeared visibly sweaty and exhausted, complained about the demands of campaigning and entertaining the crowd at the rally.
The singer was among several entertainers and public figures who attended the event, where he was seen moving around the venue and interacting with supporters. Reports also indicated that he fainted due to exhaustion.
“I want to see Tinubu and Seyi Tinubu; they have almost squeezed me to death. I have fainted. Did we not collect money? Tinubu, pay me more money,” he said.
