VIDEO: Asaba cinema house on fire

Around one afternoon on Saturday, there was a fire at the Cartage Cinema in Asaba, Delta State.

The cinema house can be found in Oshimili North Local Government Area on Okpanam Road.

Numerous Nigerian Police officers could be seen blocking Okpanam Road to manage traffic.

The movie theatre shares a boundary with Gabbs Supermarket, Rain Oil Filling Station, and the Delta State House of Assembly.

While Red Cross workers were on the scene tending to injuries, the petrol station’s employees took precautions and shuttered.

The two-story building caught fire, and the Delta State Fire Service personnel on-site with their vehicle could not put it out.

A few onlookers said that individuals were stuck inside the cinema house.
