After being spotted watching a football game during his traditional wedding ceremony, a Nigerian man became popular on the internet.

The groom was spotted hooked to his phone while watching Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami game against Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in a video that went viral on social media.

The groom sat silently, his eyes glued to his screen, totally engrossed in the football action, while relatives and guests reveled in the vibrant celebration, dancing to drums and taking in the cultural atmosphere.

Since then, the video has gone viral on the internet. While some viewers thought it was improper and insulting to the event, others thought it was humorous and realistic.
