A Nigerian man talks about how he overcame abuse from his wife in an interview with media personality Doyin David of the @doyinscorner podcast show.

The man recounts the events that lead to his failing marriage, describing how his deeply devout wife hits him until he is unconscious whenever they argue or miscommunicate.

Because of his affection for her and the children they have together, he said he was hesitant to end the marriage. He also describes how, following each instance of assault, she begs him for forgiveness, which he grants.

Her addition of cheating to the list of crimes, however, was the straw that broke the camel’s back. After learning that his wife was having an affair with two of her pastors, the man just couldn’t take it any longer.
