Maverick musician Charles Oputa, better known by his stage as Charly Boy, has disclosed that he was “scamming” banks long before 419 fraud gained traction in Nigeria.
In the most recent episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, co-hosted by actor Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, also known as Nedu, he revealed this.
“I was scamming banks. Even before una begin hear of 419, I don do small,” he said.
“You used to scam banks and they paid?” Nedu implied.
Charly Boy replied, “Yes, of course.”
The veteran singer also revealed that he became a father at 16 years old.
Charly Boy told how a “woman” he went into the bedroom with “changed to a full-blown man” after taking a shower, all the while expressing his love for gay people.
He claimed to be fed up with having a submissive wife and to be looking for someone who would force him to submit.
