VIDEO: “I won’t give him 100% as a son” – Groom’s mother’s speech at wedding trends as she describes son

The speech a Nigerian mother gave during her son’s wedding ceremony caused a stir. The emotional woman talked about the personalities of her son and his wife.

The mother claimed in a video posted on TikTok by @irisfilms that her kids referred to her as a “dramatic queen” because she enjoyed dramatizing.

She said: “My children call me a drama queen. I like to dramatise.”

In reference to the groom, the woman stated: “Emeka is very respectful. He’s very humble. He has never disappointed, but I’m not gonna give him 100% as a son. I’m going to give him 75% because at times when I call him, his phone would be ringing but he won’t pick it up, and I will hear Ogechi. Ogechi will say, ‘Is that not your mother calling you?’ Then he will pick it up.”

“I’m happy to have the kind of children I have. They never gave me problem and I’m ready to fight. I used to wear trousers pants. I’m little but I’m mighty. But look at, the end justifies the means.”

The mother of the groom praised her daughter-in-law, saying: “Ogechi is not from my stomach but I love her. They trained her. She received some home training, She is a very good girl. I love you Ogechi, you know that right?”
