VIDEO: Katsina Gov, Umar Radda weeps as Buhari’s remains finally laid to rest

As the former president Muhammadu Buhari’s body was being laid to rest, Katsina State Governor Dikko Umar Radda broke down in tears.

Muhammadu Buhari, who passed away in London on Sunday following a protracted illness, was buried at his hometown of Daura in Katsina State, according to the ZINGTIE.

At around 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, dignitaries from Nigeria and other nations assembled at the graveyard to participate in the burial.

At approximately 5:50 p.m., he was finally laid to rest in accordance with Islamic customs.

In the midst of intense security and tearful scenes, the former leader’s remains landed at Katsina State’s Umaru Musa Yar’Adua International Airport around 2:00 pm.
