A young lady posts a video of her Nigerian mother waking everyone in the room for morning devotion, including her friends who had come for a sleepover.

The girls look to be half sleeping in the widely shared video. Social media users couldn’t help but chuckle at the traditional African mother behavior of “everyone must pray, visitor or not.”

She implied that her friends may have anticipated a quiet evening, but her mother had different plans for them when she said, “They are not used to this.”
