A lady was captured on camera taking a ₦300,000 bone straight wig from a Lagos hair salon. The woman is shown on camera discretely removing the wig from a display and putting it in her bag while seeming to look at other things.

Then, probably to divert attention, she asked the salesperson to take pictures of another wig. The store owner, who was upset that the attendant had overlooked the suspicious activity at the time, later watched the video and found the theft.

This incident emphasizes how crucial it is to be vigilant and how successful monitoring systems are in retail settings. It also reminds people that trying to steal expensive goods, like expensive wigs, is against the law and frequently obvious.
