A young woman was reportedly attacked and stripped by residents of a compound after she was allegedly caught attempting to steal a laptop and other valuables from a residential apartment. .. WATCH THE VIDEO!

According to gathered reports, the woman had initially visited the compound on an earlier occasion, where she reportedly presented herself as someone looking for an apartment to rent. Residents stated that she explained she was checking for available spaces within the building, and at the time, nothing seemed unusual.

However, the following day, she allegedly returned to the same compound. This time, residents claimed she gained access to the premises without drawing attention. She was later discovered inside a living room, allegedly gathering a laptop and other personal items.

A resident who reportedly caught her in the act raised an alarm, which led to a confrontation. It was further claimed that the woman attempted to escape but was apprehended by a male resident. The situation intensified as she was restrained and taken outside the compound gate.

As more residents gathered, tensions escalated, and she was allegedly assaulted by some members of the community before being stripped of her clothes during the incident. The situation quickly attracted attention within the neighborhood, with eyewitnesses describing a disorderly and chaotic scene.

Sources within the compound also claimed that the suspect had previously been associated with other theft-related incidents, including the alleged stealing of clothing belonging to a nursing mother, which were later sold.

Authorities have yet to release an official statement concerning the incident, and it remains uncertain whether the suspect has been handed over to the police for further investigation.
