VIDEO: Woman who lost 5 kids in Benue attack cries out for help

After losing five children in the Yelwata attack in Benue state, a widow has called for assistance.

Armed herdsmen assaulted and ravaged the town of Yelwata on Friday night, starting about 10 p.m. and continuing into the early hours of Saturday morning.

More than 200 individuals have been killed and injured in the attack.

The woman described the tragedy in a video, stating that she lost five of her children—including her mother, whom she loved—to the attack.

The Nigerian physician @OurFavOnlineDoc, who practices in the UK, posted the video with the following caption:

“This lady lost all her 5 children and she also lost her mother at the recent Yelwata Massacre in Benue State.

The pain is deep and piercing.

How do you tell her to “reconcile” with those who wiped out her family”
