After an old video went viral, Baltasar Engonga, the troubled CEO of Equatorial Guinea’s National Agency for Financial Investigation, became the centre of attention.

TikTok viewers responded to the video, which featured Engonga, a husband and father of six, dancing vivaciously at an event.

Following Engonga’s incident involving more than 300 recordings purportedly shot in his office, hotels, and other areas, the resurrected flashback video, shared by user @jean.bece, generated curiosity.

These films, which purportedly showed married women—including close relatives of high-ranking politicians—sparked questions about public officials’ responsibility and ethics.

A throwback of the troubled official dancing with swag at an occasion started to make headlines after netizens’ responses.
