The Kebbi State Government has denied any role in the ongoing legal conflict between one Comrade Mohammed Usman Anache and Alhaji Sani Dododo, the spokesperson for the People’s Democratic Party, or PDP.

The government explained in a statement released on Friday that the problem is a private disagreement between the two people and is unrelated to Governor Nasir Idris or the state government.

“We want to make it categorically clear to the good people of Kebbi State that His Excellency, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, is a true democrat who respects the rule of law,” the statement read.

The administration further underlined that it had no involvement in the court proceedings and added that it first learned about the issue from public debates.

“This administration is not involved in the case and should not be linked to it in any way,” it added.
