2 Israeli soldiers killed in car attack in West Bank

A vehicle attack in the northern West Bank has claimed the lives of two Israeli soldiers, both 20 years old.

On Thursday, the army told reporters that this was true.

The soldiers claimed that the previous evening, they had been hit by a car that appeared to be driven by a suspected Palestinian.

While the Israeli army continued to hunt for the suspect, senior military personnel were examining the scene of the incident to ascertain the circumstances.

He is reported to have turned himself into the Palestinian police, however this has not been verified.
