2026 Ballon d’Or: Bayern Star Reveals Who He Believes Deserves the Prize

Bayern Munich forward, Luis Diaz, has identified the player he believes merits the 2026 Ballon d’Or award.

In a video shared by Bayern Munich on X on Thursday, Diaz backed his club teammate, Harry Kane, for the prestigious individual honour, insisting that the England captain deserves it a hundred per cent.

The Colombian international said Kane is constantly striving for more and contributes across different areas of the pitch.

“He does everything. He attacks, defends, and assists,” Diaz said when asked why Kane should win the Ballon d’Or.
“He was one of the top scorers in the whole world last season. That is why I think he deserves it. 100%.

“He always wants more, refuses to settle, and he helps you as a teammate to grow.”

Kane scored an impressive 72 goals for Bayern Munich and the England national team last season.

He also helped Vincent Kompany’s side secure the Bundesliga title and played a role in England’s bronze-medal finish at the 2026 World Cup.
