Nyesom Wike, the minister of the Federal Capital Territory, has finally discussed his conflict with Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara.

According to Wike, Fubara planned to have Hon. Martin Amaewhule, the Speaker of the House of Assembly, removed; however, the scheme backfired, creating a dilemma for the state.

During a Tuesday appearance on Politics Today on Channels Television, the minister disclosed the information.

“Have Fubara told you I demanded any money from him? I have never done that.

“The problem is that he plotted a coup to remove the Speaker of the State House of Assembly and the thing boomerang against him,” Wike said.

According to ZINGTIE, Wike and Fubara were embroiled in a political feud that caused chaos and immense damage throughout the state.
