Bala Mohammed, the governor of Bauchi State, has had the full support of the Peoples Democratic Party’s National Working Committee (NWC) in his attempts to stabilise the party and strengthen its position as a major opposition force in Nigeria.

The guarantee was given over the weekend during a condolence visit to the governor after the death of his stepmother, Hajiya Hauwa, by the NWC, which was led by Udeh Okoye, the recently appointed National Secretary.

They highlighted how crucial cooperation and unity are to accomplishing the party’s objectives.

Ibrahim Yayari expressed condolences and offered prayers for the governor’s family on behalf of the delegation.

He emphasised Governor Mohammed’s crucial position in the PDP Governors Forum and said that his leadership is essential to the party’s continued progress.

“We are here not just to share in your grief but to reaffirm our support for your tireless efforts in strengthening the PDP and ensuring it remains a strong opposition voice in Nigeria,” Yayari stated.

To further the PDP’s purpose and aid in the development of the country, the NWC members reaffirmed their dedication to collaborating closely with Governor Mohammed and other party stakeholders.
