Felix Morka, the National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has stated that he has been threatened with murder because of comments he made on Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) 2023 presidential candidate.

During a Wednesday appearance on Arise Television, Morka made the assertion.

He claims that at least 200 of the more than 400 threats he has received have threatened his life.

According to the ruling party official, Obi’s assertion that his comments in a previous interview amounted to a threat to the LP candidate’s life set off the threats.

“Peter Obi’s allegations that my words in that interview threatened his life have triggered serious consequences,” Morka said.

“As of now, I have documented 400 threats, about 200 of which are explicit death threats. These are written threats that I will be submitting to law enforcement agencies.

“In these messages, individuals have detailed how they plan to harm me—threatening to shoot me, behead me, and carry out other gruesome acts.”

Morka had said: “Obi has crossed the line so many times” adding that “whatever he has coming to him, he should manage it.”

Obi claims that he has been receiving messages since Morka made the comment, including threats against his life and the lives of others around him.
