Brazil forward Vinicius Junior has assured supporters that the Seleção will come back stronger in their next fixture after being held by Morocco in their opening match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The winger found the back of the net for Brazil, cancelling out an earlier strike from Morocco’s Ismael Saibari.
Both sides settled for a share of the spoils as the highly anticipated encounter finished 1-1 at the end of regulation time, earning each team a point in the tournament.
Reacting after the game, the Real Madrid attacker expressed optimism about Brazil’s prospects and promised better performances in the matches ahead.
In a message posted on Instagram, he wrote, “Thank you God, we want more and will improve. Let’s go together, Brazil.”
Brazil will return to action in their second group-stage match against Haiti on June 19.
Carlo Ancelotti’s men are scheduled to conclude their group campaign with a clash against Scotland on June 24.
