A video of a loan company’s drastic tactics to collect debts from a Nigerian woman recently went viral online.
The woman was shown in the video expressing her anger and distress when the lending firm used her picture in a phoney obituary notice.
@martolexx posted the video on social media, expressing displeasure with the loan company’s strategies.
The woman was seen in the video arguing with a loan manager on the phone, claiming that the corporation had declared her “dead” and that she would not pay the amount.
She demanded to know why the loan firm had taken such extreme and upsetting actions because her aggravation and rage were unbearable.
In addition to informing her contacts of her alleged death, she noted that the company’s activities had caused her severe pain.
In her words: “Like seriously you guys posted my obituary and called all my contacts and you’re still expecting me to pay the money. I don’t understand. Now you guys have posted my obituary meaning I am dead. I don die so I no fit pay money.”
