Patience Asaidu, a Nigerian woman, has come out on the untimely death of her sister, Salome, who was purportedly murdered by a gospel singer.

Asaidu described the startling finding in the suspect’s room following a search in an emotional video.

Asaidu broke down in tears as she recounted the circumstances behind her sister’s death in the video, which @bbcnewspidgin posted on Instagram.

She said a search of the suspect’s room turned up a number of huge rubber objects, but she didn’t explain what they meant.

“He just killed my sister and ended her life in his room. See big big rubber we saw in his house there. Even the way this guy acts,” she said.

We remind you that, according to the law, everyone who is accused of a crime is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Many Nigerians expressed their sympathy and outrage after reading Asaidu’s account, and they sent their condolences to the bereaved family.
