Nigeria Higher Education Foundation Launches 2025 Scholars Program

The Nigeria Higher Education Foundation (NHEF) has announced the launch of the 2025 NHEF Scholars Program, designed to empower talented Nigerian students with the skills, experiences, and networks needed to excel as leaders and professionals.

The NHEF Scholars Program

The NHEF Scholars Program identifies exceptional students in their penultimate year and equips them with exclusive internship opportunities, leadership and career development training, mentorship, and networking opportunities with accomplished professionals and NHEF alumni.

“The NHEF Scholars Program is designed to nurture and develop the next generation of Nigerian leaders and professionals,” the NHEF said.

Benefits of NHEF Scholarship Program

Each Scholar goes through a week-long orientation program that exposes them to career development training that is pivotal in facilitating an easy transition into the global workforce. During the NHEF Scholars Program, each scholar undergoes intensive training by a thoroughly selected group of international facilitators. The Scholars will take up internship placements at partner firms, which typically last 6 – 8 weeks. They also go through a robust curriculum, ensuring continuous personal and professional development.

Requirements for NHEF Scholarship Program

To be considered for the 2025 NHEF Scholars Program, applicants must:

– Be penultimate-year students enrolled at an NHEF Partner University

– Be well-rounded individuals with demonstrated excellence in academics, extracurricular activities, and professional pursuits.

– Exhibit a strong commitment to community service, philanthropy, and a desire to make a lasting impact in society.

Selection Process

The selection process for the 2025 NHEF Scholars Program is highly competitive. Applicants will be evaluated based on their academic performance, leadership potential, and commitment to community service.
