Nyesom Wike, the minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has disclosed one of the reasons he is unable to reach an agreement with Rivers State Governor Similayi Fubara.

Wike claimed that Fubara had removed a chief from his family and appointed a new one.

During a media parley in Abuja on Wednesday, the FCT Minister made this statement in response to questioning from reporters.

According to ZINGTIE, the comment was made in the midst of the State’s ongoing political crisis, which is centered on the conflict between Governor Similayi Fubara and Wike.

“Sometimes when you people talk about this peace, you don’t take everything. You don’t just sit outside to talk.

“Look at me, a former governor, Minister of of the FCT, Governor (Fubara) had the temerity, the audacity, because he has money from federation account, because he has more Internally Generated Revenue (IGR), will enter my own family to remove a chief and make another person a chief,” Wike said.
