Comcast has pledged $50,000 to support nonprofit organisations in Arkansas and Tennessee in the aftermath of devastating storms. The donation aims to provide vital resources to families and businesses impacted by the tornadoes and flooding.

Mike McArdle, Regional Senior Vice President of Comcast, said, “The devastation caused by these storms has changed lives, and our hearts are with every resident, business owner, and community member forced to rebuild.”

He added that the donation reflects Comcast’s broader mission “to stand by communities during times of crisis, helping residents rebuild and recover with resilience and hope.

Comcast not only provided financial support but also worked tirelessly to repair network damage and ensure continued connectivity. According to the company, severe storms can have devastating effects on communities, disrupting lives and causing widespread damage.

Sarah Breazeale, Executive Director of the American Red Cross, Tennessee Mid-South Chapter, expressed gratitude for Comcast’s support, saying, “Every day, Red Cross volunteers across the nation step up with compassion and courage to respond to disasters.”

She added: “Comcast’s support not only helps us deliver critical relief and recovery services, but it also honours the tireless spirit of our volunteers who embody the very best of humanity.”
