Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, has received a $10 million bequest from the estates of Elno Zikmund (BS’ 41) and his wife, Tillie. The generous gift will support the Elno T. and Mathilda M. Zikmund Endowed Scholarship, which the couple established in 2010. This significant bequest will further enhance the scholarship fund, enabling more students to benefit from the Zikmunds’ philanthropy.

The Elno T. and Mathilda M. Zikmund Endowed Scholarship has already made a profound impact on the lives of 80 students who have received awards from the fund. These students have gone on to pursue careers in various fields, including medicine, accounting, campus ministry, and analytical chemistry.
