Bayelsa United have confirmed the date for the start of their preparations ahead of the 2025–26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) campaign.
The team, also known as the Prosperity Boys, is set to resume training on Saturday, June 28, 2025.
The update was shared on Wednesday by club official Tarila Okorowanta during a media interaction.
According to Okorowanta, the coaching staff will assess the current squad to decide which players will be retained, while also making plans to bring in new signings to strengthen the team.
“Right now, the team is on break and will reconvene on 28 June to prepare for the 2025/2026 season,” Okorowanta told Completesports.
“It is when the team regroups that the technical crew will determine those to be retained and those to be recruited based on the team’s needs.”
