President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to delivering on the promises outlined in the Renewed Hope Agenda, assuring the people of Nasarawa State and Nigerians at large.
He also committed to continuing federal support for development efforts in Nasarawa, particularly in agriculture and the solid minerals industry.
Tinubu made this commitment during a courtesy visit to the Emir of Lafia, Justice Sidi Bage Muhammad, at his palace.
Commending Governor Abdullahi Sule, Tinubu highlighted the governor’s effective use of state resources, noting that this has gained the confidence of both the federal government and private investors.
While addressing those at the Emir’s palace, Tinubu expressed happiness about being back in Nasarawa. He recalled that the Emir had once predicted during the 2023 election campaigns that he would return as the nation’s president.
“Thank you. You are a highly far-sighted individual, a committed Nigerian of high integrity and jurisprudence,” he said.
Tinubu described Nasarawa as a peaceful and steadily advancing state, attributing the progress to Governor Sule and the Traditional Rulers Council.
He pledged to intensify efforts toward delivering on the goals of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
“All I have decided is to ensure a change for the future and the best,” he added.
He further stressed that the Renewed Hope Agenda is designed to transform the nation’s economy in a way that benefits the youth and upcoming generations.
