Motorists are expecting another increase in fuel pump prices in the coming week. According to the Department of Energy-Oil Industry Management Bureau (DOE-OIMB), prices of petroleum products such as gasoline, diesel, and kerosene are likely to rise by around P0.50 per liter.

DOE-OIMB Assistant Director Rodela Romero cited several factors contributing to the anticipated price hike, including OPEC’s steady oil demand growth forecasts and speculation about US President Donald Trump’s tariff policies slowing global economic growth and energy demand.
Jetti Petroleum estimated that diesel prices could increase by P0.70 to P0.90 per litre, while gasoline prices might go up by P0.30 to P0.50 per litre, based on the mean of Platts Singapore average over the past four days. Fuel retailers typically announce price adjustments every Monday, which take effect the following day
