After awakening to a horrific scene—a mom and her four children were burned to death in the middle of the night—inside their own home—the residents of Bulapesa in Isiolo town are still in shock.

Witnesses reported that the fire started at midnight and spread so quickly that no one was able to save them. By daylight, both the house and the five innocent lives inside had been turned to ashes.

However, the tragedy’s cause has left everyone stunned.

It was not a coincidence. It was prearranged.

The wife of a man who was secretly dating the deceased woman, his “mpango wa kando,” is said to have been the one who set the house on fire. When the wife allegedly locked the mistress and her kids inside the house, jealousy and wrath turned fatal. then burned it and walked away.

According to a relative named Abdi Duba, neighbors attempted to assist, but the fire was too strong. There was nothing to do.

However, the tale did not stop there.

The culprit was pursued by enraged townspeople who were outraged by the callous behavior. In a bizarre turn of events, they decided to administer justice themselves, immediately beating and burning her to death.
