According to Arise Television’s Director of News and Politics Editor Sumner Sambo, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) would be laughing if it ignored the opposition coalition led by the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Sambo made this claim on Monday during an appearance on Arise Television’s “The Morning Show.”
He claims that there is a great deal of discontent in the APC.
“When APC started at its formative stage, many Nigerians did not give them opportunities. There is a lot of disaffection within the APC. The ADC has its own issues, those in the governing party should be very careful,” he said.
In advance of the general elections in 2027, ZINGTIE reported that the African Democratic Congress, or ADC, was accepted as the political party by the opposition coalition on July 2.
It appointed former Interior Minister Rauf Aregbesola as national secretary and former Senate President David Mark as national chairman.
