Joanna, a contestant on Big Brother Naija Season 10, turned down Victory’s romantic request, expressing her preference to remain self-reliant.
Victory, who had earlier shown interest in Joanna along with Gigi Jasmine and Sultana, approached Rooboy Joanna’s close friend on Tuesday, asking for his help in persuading her to consider a relationship.
Rooboy invited Joanna to join him and Victory in the garden, where he relayed Victory’s feelings to her.
Joanna asked why Victory didn’t speak to her directly, and he responded that he didn’t want to make her feel lumped together with Gigi and Sultana.
She eventually admitted she has feelings for Victory too, but insisted on keeping her independence while in the house.
Rooboy: “My n*gga likes you very much.”
Joana: “Why can’t he tell me himself?”
Victory: “I just didn’t want to put you in the line up with Gigi and Sultana.”
Joana: “I like Victory as much as he likes me but I want my individuality.”
