According to Emmanuel Ogidi, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) National Vice Chairman (South-South), Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), and his supporters are not true PDP members.

This was stated by Ogidi on Friday in response to queries during an interview on Arise Television that was watched by ZINGTIE.

He rejected Wike’s comments, stating that the party will proceed with its national convention preparations even if a court ruling prevented them.

In addition to stating that the PDP would appeal the decision preventing it from holding its convention, he emphasized that the party has not veered and is proceeding according to the proper procedures.

“We are doing everything within our guidelines. It’s unfortunate that some of our members are economical with the facts. What happened in court today was like a comedy.

“But we have made up our minds — we have appealed, and we will continue with our processes because we believe we are doing the right thing,” Ogidi said.

Additionally, the party mainstay claimed that Wike and other individuals he called disgruntled members were exhibiting arrogance and working against the party’s interests.

“They are the ones that are arrogant. They are the ones who have been boasting. They are not PDP members as far as I am concerned,” Ogidi stated.
