Nino, the first son of renowned Nigerian musician Innocent Idibia, better known by his stage name 2Face, has stated that he is not interested in pursuing a career in music.

Nino is a gifted saxophonist, but his father disclosed that his goal is to become a doctor.

At a ceremony in Abuja commemorating Nino’s 25 years in the music business, the African Queen crooner revealed this.

“Making some noise for my son Nino, mehn,” he tells the crowd as he brings the lad on stage.

“He said he doesn’t want to be a singer. He wants to be a doctor,” he added amid cheers from the crowd.

On January 15, 2006, 2Face and his former baby mama, Sumbo Adeoye, welcomed their first kid, Nino Idibia.

Nino is a social media influencer, model, and saxophone.

In the Nigerian music industry, it’s not uncommon for kids to follow in their parents’ footsteps.

Boluwatife Balogun, the first son of Wizkid, recently began his musical career at the age of 14 with his debut EP ‘Champions’ Arrival’ under the stage name, Champz.
