Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham has identified four Los Blancos players who must stand up in Kylian Mbappe’s absence.
Bellingham talked ahead of Real Madrid’s Supercopa de Espana match against Atlético Madrid on Thursday night.
Mbappe did not board the flight to Saudi Arabia for the Atletico Madrid match due to a knee issue.
However, Bellingham stated that Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo, and Gonzalo Garcia, as well as himself, must step up in the absence of the injured Mbappe.
According to Madrid Xtra, the England international stated: “It’s up to players like myself, Vini, Rodrygo, and Gonzalo to step up in the absence of Kylian’s huge influence.”
“We have to do that not just with goals, but with our all-round play. I’m sure if we do that, there will be a lot of opportunities to score for whoever.”
Mbappe has been Real Madrid’s top player so far this season, with 29 goals and three assists in 24 appearances.
