On the same day, Bello Matawalle, the Minister of State for Defense, is scheduled to marry nine of his children.

Former Zamfara State governor Matawalle had four wives: Aisha, Balkisu, Fatima, and Dadiya.

The minister’s sons and daughters will get married on February 6, 2026, at the Central Mosque in Abuja, according to a universal invitation provided by Dan Jafaru Aleengoo Turakee.

Some of the couples scheduled to get married on the day were listed in a separate invitation. Hon. Nasiru Mu’azu Magarya, a former speaker of the Zamfara State House of Assembly, will wed Nana Bello Matawalle.

Yazid Shehu Dan Fulani will wed Safiya Bello Matawalle, and Ibrahim Sahabi Liman will wed Farida Bello Matawalle.

Umar Ibrahim Danmaliki and Aisha Bello Matawalle are identified as another couple.

The invites did not completely divulge the details of the subsequent marriages, although all ceremonies are anticipated to take place at the Abuja location on the same day.
