Dele Momodu, a well-known politician in Nigeria and the publisher of Ovation Magazine, has revealed that negotiations are in progress with Adeleke’s family to resolve the legal conflict involving singer Davido and Sophia Momodu.

He disclosed this while replying to the public’s appeals for him to step in to the ongoing child custody dispute involving the singer and his first baby mama, Sophia Momodu (Dele Momodu’s niece).

Davido withdrew the custody case a week ago after Sophia’s lawyer mentioned the circumstances surrounding the death of his late son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, in court.

Dele Momodu, who is currently in Liberia to offer condolences to former Vice President Jewel Howard-Taylor regarding the death of her only child, responded to public calls for his intervention by stating that discussions are underway between the two families to settle the complicated dispute.

“Nothing to worry about. Everything is going to be alright. We’re working behind the scenes. Please, keep everyone in your prayers.”
