Victor Osimhen has demanded that he starts Galatasaray’s upcoming Turkish Super Lig match against Gençlerbirliği, ZINGTIE reports.

Okan Buruk’s side is set to face the relegation-threatened team on Saturday.

The Nigerian international returned to training with his Galatasaray teammates for the first time on Wednesday since sustaining a forearm injury during the clash with Liverpool.

According to Tavkim, Osimhen had a private discussion with Buruk following the session, where he made it clear he wanted to start the game against Gençlerbirliği.

Galatasaray has struggled in Osimhen’s absence, suffering a 2-1 defeat to title contenders Trabzonspor and settling for a disappointing 1-1 draw with Kocaelispor last weekend.

Their lead at the top of the Turkish Super Lig standings has now been reduced to just two points.
