CCTV Captures Dance Trainer Allegedly Raping Female Church Member at Church Backyard

Widespread shock and condemnation have trailed reports of an alleged sexual assault involving a female church member and a male dance instructor within a church compound.

According to several accounts, the incident is said to have occurred at the back section of the church premises shortly after a programme organised by the church. Sources allege that the suspect, identified as a dance trainer associated with the church, reportedly convinced the woman to accompany him outside under the guise of showing her a hidden gift.

Reports suggest that the victim, unaware of the man’s alleged intentions and not knowing that the area was covered by CCTV surveillance, followed him to the location. Upon arrival, he allegedly assaulted her and forced himself on her without consent.

Further accounts indicate that the victim was heard calling for help during the incident. The alleged assault reportedly continued until individuals monitoring the security cameras noticed unusual activity and raised an alarm.

Footage believed to be circulating online reportedly shows the suspect holding the victim against a wall during the incident. Church officials and members are said to have rushed to the scene after observing the CCTV feed and subsequently apprehended the suspect.

For legal and privacy considerations, the identities of the church, the victim, and the suspect have not been made public.

The incident has since generated widespread reactions on social media, reigniting discussions about safety within religious institutions, breach of trust, and the urgent need for stronger protective measures for members.
