Former Arsenal FC defender, Mikael Silvestre, has suggested that forward Gabriel Martinelli should consider leaving the Gunners if manager Mikel Arteta guides the club to the Premier League title this season.
Silvestre explained that it could be the right moment for the Brazilian international to leave Arteta’s side if the club eventually wins the English top-flight league.
Arteta’s team currently remains in a strong position to claim the Premier League title as they only need to win their remaining two matches against Burnley FC and Crystal Palace FC.
“Gabriel Martinelli might be the Arsenal player who wants to trigger a transfer because of hame-time,” Silvestre was quoted by Metro UK as telling Betpack.
“He wants to play and Leandro Trossard gets more game time than him.
“Leaving Arsenal after winning the Premier League would be good timing for him, maybe a good decision, but he needs to find the right place to go.”
