Rangers have received a $10,000 cash reward following their CAF Champions League victory over Sobemap FC.

The club’s Chairman, Barrister Amobi Ezeaku, presented the cash to the players after their 5-4 penalty shootout triumph over Sobemap FC.

The reward is intended to motivate the players as they prepare for the next stage of the competition.

The NPFL champions were forced to a 1-1 draw by their hosts in the second leg of the first preliminary round at the Stade de Kegue, Lome, on Friday.

The fiercely contested tie ended 2-2 on aggregate.

Rangers will now take on Algerian side MC Alger in the second preliminary round.
