Unai Emery, manager of Aston Villa FC, on Wednesday made history after his side defeated SC Freiburg 3-0 to win the UEFA Europa League final.

The outcome of the encounter in Istanbul means Emery has become the first coach to win the Europa League with three different clubs.

The Spaniard previously won the competition three times with Sevilla FC, once with Villarreal CF, and now with Aston Villa.

Also, no manager has won more major European finals than Emery, who is now level with the likes of Carlo Ancelotti, Jose Mourinho and Giovanni Trapattoni.

ZINGTIE reports that goals from Youri Tielemans, Emiliano Buendía and Morgan Rogers secured the victory for Aston Villa against Freiburg.
