Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, has carried out a major restructuring within his administration, relieving his Deputy Chief of Staff and the Principal Private Secretary of their appointments.
The development also affected all Special Advisers, Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, and Special Assistants serving in the administration.
According to a statement issued in Ilorin on Monday by the Deputy Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mashood Abdulrafiu, the decision was taken to create room for additional party members and introduce renewed energy into governance.
“His Excellency expresses his gratitude to all the appointees for their priceless service to the state.
“He wishes them the best in their future endeavours,” the statement added.
The governor further instructed all those affected by the decision to return every government asset in their possession to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government as part of the transition process.
