Galatasaray president Dursun Özbek has ruled out the possibility of Victor Osimhen leaving the Turkish giants this summer, ZINGTIE reports.
The Nigeria international has attracted interest from several clubs following his impressive performances for Galatasaray.
Premier League champions Arsenal have reportedly identified Osimhen as a potential target and are said to be considering a move for the striker.
The Gunners could reportedly include Gabriel Martinelli and Ethan Nwaneri as part of a possible deal for the Nigerian forward.
Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal are also believed to be monitoring Osimhen’s situation and could make an approach for the Super Eagles star.
However, Özbek has made it clear that Galatasaray are determined to retain their key attacking player despite the growing interest.
“What I said for Barış Alper Yılmaz, I am now saying more strongly for Osimhen. No matter how much money it is, I am not selling Osimhen,” he told 343 Digital as quoted by Habersarikirmizi.
Osimhen has already made an impressive start to the new Turkish Super Lig campaign, scoring twice in Galatasaray’s 2-2 draw against Arca Çorum FK on Friday night.
The striker’s latest performance is expected to further increase interest in his services as the summer transfer window continues.
