Nollywood actress Oluebube Obio has alleged that she was compelled to attend an All Progressives Congress, APC, campaign event, claiming that her life and personal safety were not guaranteed.

The actress made the disclosure after coming under criticism over videos showing her at the political gathering.

Some Nigerians had questioned why she attended the APC campaign, prompting her to respond to the reactions on social media.

In her post, Oluebube suggested that there was more to her appearance at the event than was visible to the public.

She also alleged that she was being blackmailed and said she would reveal the identities of those responsible when the time was appropriate.

The actress appealed to her supporters to remember her in their prayers as she dealt with the situation.

However, Oluebube did not disclose the identities of the individuals she accused of forcing or blackmailing her.

Oluebube wrote: “I was actually forced to be in such settings, my life and safety is not guaranteed, if you watch the video closely, I myself felt so much discomfort and stressed up

“When the time is right I will expose the people blackmailing me, the least you can do is to pray for me.”

She also did not provide further details about what allegedly happened before or during her appearance at the APC campaign.
