AFCON 2023: Yemi Alade deserves national honour – Patrick Doyle

According to veteran Nollywood actor Patrick Doyle, well-known Nigerian singer Yemi Alade ought to receive a national awards.

In response to the singer’s performance at the ongoing 2023 African Cup of Nations, AFCON, the actor gave this explanation on Tuesday.

Doyle referred to Alade as Nigeria’s most important cultural ambassador in a string of posts on his Instagram page, saying that the woman ought to get a national award.

He posted a video of her performance and captioned it, saying, “Behold, Nigeria’s most valuable cultural ambassador. Yemi Alade is nothing short of a national treasure, she deserves a national honour.”
