Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has opened up about the reason she destroyed the outfit she wore to the burial ceremony of late actor Alex Ekubo.

The actress disclosed this through a post shared on her official Instagram page.

According to her, she holds the belief that clothes worn to burial ceremonies should be burnt afterward.

She explained that the decision was based on her personal conviction regarding funeral rites and the handling of garments worn during such occasions.

“This is the outfit I wore to Alex’s burial. My Godmother said it is not good to have the cloth you wore to a burial around you; you burn them. So family and friends take note. I felt I should share this information.

“May the Lord keep and bless us with long life. Amen. Chai,” she stated.
