Blackburn Rovers manager Michael O’Neill has confirmed that Ryan Alebiosu will be available for their upcoming match against Sky Bet Championship leaders Coventry City, ZINGTIE reports.
The Blue and Whites will host Frank Lampard’s team at Ewood Park on Friday night.
Alebiosu was substituted at halftime during Rovers’ 2-1 defeat to Southampton on Tuesday after sustaining an injury during a challenge with Ryan Manning.
However, O’Neill provided positive news on the Nigerian defender’s recovery, confirming that he would be ready for the Coventry City clash.
“Ryan came through training today having come off in the game on Tuesday night, so that was a bonus,” O’Neill shared with RoversTV.
The 24-year-old has made 38 league appearances for Rovers this season, scoring once and registering four assists.
