China declares readiness for war with US

The People’s Republic of China has declared its readiness for any form of conflict with the United States.

This statement was made by the Chinese Embassy in the U.S. on Tuesday night, following the Trump administration’s announcement of new trade tariffs.

“If war is what the U.S. wants, whether it be a tariff war, a trade war, or any other type of war, we’re ready to fight until the end,” the embassy posted on X.

The Embassy’s comment followed a statement by the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which criticized the U.S. for using the fentanyl issue as a “flimsy excuse” to raise tariffs on Chinese imports.

The Ministry emphasized that China’s counter-measures to protect its rights and interests are both legitimate and necessary. It added, “The U.S., not anyone else, is responsible” for the fentanyl crisis.

In a post on X, China accused the U.S. of attempting to smear China’s efforts and shift the blame for the crisis onto them, while pressuring and blackmailing the country with tariff increases.

“They’ve been pushing us for helping them,” the statement read. “This is not going to solve the U.S.’s problem and will undermine our counternarcotics dialogue and cooperation.”

China further asserted that intimidation or bullying would not work on them, warning the U.S. government to stop using “pressure, coercion, or threats.”

The Chinese government concluded that anyone trying to exert maximum pressure on China is making a mistake and urged the U.S. to approach the fentanyl issue through dialogue, treating each other as equals.
