The Premier League matchday 25 kicked off on Friday evening, with Leeds United securing a home victory against Nottingham Forest, scoring 3-1.

This weekend’s Premier League highlight is the match between Liverpool and Manchester City, taking place on Sunday evening at Anfield.

But which other matchups are fans and experts anticipating will yield surprising outcomes this weekend?

  1. Arsenal vs Sunderland – This match will take place at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday evening. Currently, Arsenal is in first place in the Premier League standings, with Sunderland in eighth. Each team secured victory in their most recent match against Leeds and Burnley, respectively. In the previous season, Arsenal and Sunderland ended their match in a 2–2 tie. The visitors might surprise the Gunners in front of their home crowd and secure a good result.
  2. Wolves vs Chelsea – This match will take place at Molineux on Saturday evening. Wolves were defeated in their most recent game, which was a home match against Bournemouth, with a score of 0–2. Chelsea, on the other hand, triumphed in their Stamford Bridge match against West Ham United, winning 3–2. Nonetheless, Wolves might surprise the Blues on their home turf, as they will be eager to prevent another consecutive loss in front of their fans after last weekend’s defeat against Bournemouth. Wolves sit at the bottom of the Premier League table, whereas Chelsea occupies the 5th position.
  3. Manchester United vs Tottenham – The game kicks off Saturday afternoon at Old Trafford. Manchester United come into the match following a victory over Fulham, whereas Tottenham played to a 2-2 draw with Manchester City. The Red Devils occupy the 4th spot in the Premier League standings, whereas Spurs sit at 14th. Nevertheless, Thomas Frank’s team managed to secure a decent outcome against United, with the reverse match ending in a 2-2 draw last November at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
