Six uncrewed aerial vehicles were fired by militants in Lebanon on Tuesday, resulting in damage and fire in northern Israel.

In a statement, the Israeli military said that the Aerial Defence Array of the nation had only intercepted one of the drones.

It stated, “A fire was started by one of the drones that exploded close to the Israel-Lebanon border, near the community of Yiftah.”

The Israeli military went on to say that no casualties were reported despite several additional drones causing minor damage.

According to a report by Israel’s state-run Kan TV news, Hezbollah, an armed force and political party in Lebanon, fired the drones. Since October 7, 2023, Hezbollah has been attacking Israel along the border.

According to military sources in Lebanon, Israel’s F-15 fighters stopped multiple drones flying out of Lebanon to northern Israel at deficient levels.

Hezbollah announced on Tuesday that the Islamic Resistance, its military wing, used drones to attack Israeli leaders and soldiers in the Yiftah barracks while claiming deaths.

He said the drones damaged an Iron Dome platform at the Ramot Naftali Barracks.

Following gunfire from Israeli forces at Aalma El Chaab in southern Lebanon, drones were launched.

Israeli aeroplanes struck Hezbollah military installations and facilities in the southern Lebanon region of Mazraat Aaqmata on Monday.

Lebanese Labour Minister Moustafa Bayram reportedly stated earlier on Tuesday that over 3,000 commercial buildings in southern Lebanon had been damaged by Israeli attacks, according to the National News Agency, NNA.

As soon as the conflict is over, Bayram promised to get in touch with the Arab Labour Organisation and its member nations to ask for a grant for people affected by Israeli attacks.
